This product requires a J2534 Adapter for the OBD-II protocols and an RP1210 Adapter for the Heavy Duty Protocols.  Many adapters have both RP1210 and J2534 and many do not.  Be sure to choose the proper adapter to get the full benefit from this software.

PF-Diagnose uses J1939 and J1587/J1708 protocols for diagnostics, some vehicles may only have limited connectivity in these protocols or may not support them at all.  Please check your service manual or contact PF-Support for a list of confirmed vehicles.  If your vehicle uses K-Line, L-Line or OBD for off-board diagnostics, this program may not work.

 

Some data available in the OEM software is sent via Proprietary packets or on another unsupported protocol therefore you may not get all of the data you would otherwise get from the OEM software for example Audit Trails and Expanded trip information may not appear.  This is not a defect in the software, no generic software will likely have access to those messages.
